IMT is registered with the United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers, as a verified UK learning provider. The United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) is an official Government Register of Verified Learning Providers in the UK and is used by government departments agencies such as the Learning and Skills Council, Careers Advice Service, HESA, HEFCE and UCAS, and by learners and employers. IMT’s listed status on the UKRLP as a UK learning provider means that IMT has been verified and has been allocated a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN 10094396) as a unique identifier to share information with UKRLP partner agencies.

The CPD Register believes that it is imperative that CPD courses, training materials and training providers are maintaining high standards of education, ensuring a good learning experience for the end user. To achieve this CPD Accreditation Service Providers play an essential role, policing, monitoring and ensuring a high standard of learning is achieved for all whom consume CPD. 

The International Association of Maritime Professionals is a non-profit organization established in 2011, to facilitate the development and growth of the marine industry around the world. Following its inception, the IAMP has grown to comprise a group of 118 companies dedicated to numerous sectors of the maritime industry such as shipping agents, terminal operators, shipping lines, vessel operators, charterers, tug and salvage companies, stevedoring companies, bunkering services, port authorities and others.

Formed by a team of marine professionals with a combined experience of over 10 years in the shipping industry, Sea Skills Network offers unique support for ship design, construction, and operations. Personnel have a highly rated track record across the maritime sector, particularly in relation to prestigious passenger liners . The Sea Skills Network team has diverse experience having worked with many sectors of the marine industry including; architects, shipyards, classification societies, ship operators, IT network providers and marine engineering groups. Operational experience from both the merchant fleet and cruise industry has included working with some of the most prestigious shipyards and repair docks. Familiarity with class surveys, procedures and plan approval is drawn from leading Classification Societies.

The European Community Shipowners’ Association (ECSA) is the voice of the European shipping industry. Founded in 1965 as “Comité des Associations d’Armateurs des Communautés Européennes (CAACE)”, ECSA promotes the interests of 20 member associations of the EU and Norway. ECSA strives for a regulatory environment that fosters the international competitiveness of European shipping. 

The National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS Global), established in 1962, is a professional organization that certifies marine surveyors and provides continuing education opportunities. NAMS Global’s membership is international and its Certified Marine Surveyor members carry the NAMS-CMS designation after their names. From pleasure boats & yachts to commercial ships, NAMS Global marine surveyor members survey new and used vessels to determine their condition and value. NAMS Global surveyor members also survey cargo, machinery, docks, wharves, marinas, and handling equipment related to the marine industry. 

Continuing Professional Development is a commitment to ongoing lifelong learning. CPD encourages looking forward and identifying opportunities to learn something new, refresh existing knowledge, improve skills, or simply keep up-to-date with the latest developments within a particular profession or industry. In practice, CPD can mean everything from taking a training course or attending an educational event to studying for new qualifications or learning new aspects of a job.
